Our History -


Yayasan Amal Malaysia was established in 30 May 2001. Since its inception, AMAL has carried out many humanitarian aid missions involving more than 40 countries in the region of Asia, Africa, Asia and Europe. The 2004 Acheh Tsunami event is the participation of AMAL as the world’s charitable body among the most proactive in channeling aid. AMAL also have a  partner with 9 International Welfare NGOs and has founded an international charity called the International Federation for Relief and Development (IFRD) to coordinate humanitarian aid to the world community in need. Since the establishment of IFRD, AMAL is still entrusted to lead the work of coordinating assistance to all corners of the world through the cooperation of IFRD members represented by NGOs from 9 countries namely India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Turkey, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia , Pakistan and Sudan.

 Opening ceremony Yayasan Amal Malaysia (Amal) by YAB Tuan Guru Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, Menteri Besar of Kelantan. The establishment of the Yayasan Amal Malaysia  took place at the Kem Pengakap Telaga Batin, Kuala Terengganu in November 2001.

Yayasan Amal Malaysia will always remain proactive in responding to emergency issues such as providing assistance to victims of natural or man-made disasters such as war, oppression, oppression, deportation and many more. Yayasan AMAL Malaysia is also active in carrying out development and rehabilitation projects such as the development of education & training centers, the provision of clean water & sanitation and healthcare. We hope to continue and move forward in fostering global peace and solve the problems that plague the world community.
